At this fun event, families will work together to complete various games and activities and spend time with Awana leaders, pastors, and fellow clubbers! Parents will also have the opportunity to register their children, pick up books and uniforms for the new year, and hear more about the Awana ministries.
For more than 60 years, Awana has been a leader in children's ministry, helping churches and parents worldwide raise children and youth to know, love and serve Christ. Awana is an acronym for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15). Each Awana night is filled with energy, fellowship, and spiritual growth. The evening is packed with games, Scripture memory, singing, and a Bible message. At CMBC, Awana is held on Wednesday evenings throughout the school year from 6:45-8:15 pm. See below for a description of the age-group clubs. The first night of the 2017-2018 Awana year is Wednesday, Sept. 6. Please join us for the kickoff event Aug. 30!
