Missions

“The success of a church is not in its size, but in the intensity of its prayer.”

The CMBC Missionary Family

CMBC partners with more than 30 missionary families serving around the world.

Annual Missions Conference

Each March, we have an eight-day missions conference, where we are able to hear from several missionary families who are preparing to enter the mission field or who have already been faithfully serving on the field. This year's conference was held March 4-11, 2018. Click here to see the 2018 Missions Conference brochure. Our 2019 Missions Conference will be held March 17-24.

Missions Updates

When members of our CMBC Missionary Family are in the area, we make arrangements to have them give us a ministry update. On the fourth Sunday of the month, we have a "moment for missions" during the morning services. There is an opportunity for further report at a lunch after the 11:00 service. Lunches are by donation, with funds received over the cost of the lunch going to the missionaries.

Short-Term Ministry

Each year, we have individuals and small teams head out from CMBC to minister in various parts of the world. We have had teams travel to nearby Philadelphia to help local missionaries who work in some of America's toughest neighborhoods. We have partnered with Samaritan’s Purse to send several teams to places across America to assist those who have been devastated by natural disasters. We have also sent many teams to overseas locations such as the Dominican Republic, Ukraine, Germany, and Hong Kong. After each team returns home, they report to the congregation on how they have been used by the Lord to be a blessing, but they also testify of how blessed they have been by the opportunity to witness the Lord's work in many places beyond our church walls.

Prayer for Missions

We have prayer fellowships that meet monthly to pray for specific mission fields. One spokesperson from each group corresponds with missionaries on the designated field to ascertain current matters for prayer. Currently, the following Prayer Fellowship is active:

Ukraine Prayer Fellowship - Meets on the fourth Sunday of each month after the 11:00 service. Contact Neil Feltham.
