New Additions to the CMBC Missionary Family

When Kerry and Terri Psinas were in their mid-forties they went on their first missions trip. It changed their lives forever. They surrendered their lives to serving the Lord through fulltime ministry with IGM (International Gospel Mission).

They recently led their 58th team to Grenada to lead VBS. Children and adults came to know the Lord as their personal Savior during this month of ministry. They lead other teams to Grenada in January to do evangelistic meetings. As they build relationships with the people of Grenada, the teams going to serve are not only serving the lost in Grenada, but are having their own hearts touched in special ways that change their lives as well. Many members from past teams have returned to join future teams going to Grenada with Kerry & Terri.

We have had two teams from CMBC assist Kerry and Terri in ministry in Grenada. They have also participated in two of our missions conferences and have visited and shared with us on several occasions. For these reasons, and because of their testimonies and their hearts for the Lord, the Missions Committee voted on July 9 to bring Kerry and Terri into our Missions Family. Your faithfulness in missionary support will allow us to commit to add $100 to their ministry account monthly.

Pray for Kerry and Terri as they return from their month of ministry in Grenada and prepare to present and share at many supporting churches in the months ahead. Pray for many others who will also hear of this ministry for the first time.

If you would like to congratulate them, or receive periodic updates and prayer requests, feel free to contact them via email. They would love to hear from you!

Sent to SCORE

Katherine Ritzman is our latest CMBC-er to be accepted into the SCORE Gap Year program with Sam and Tina Gordley in Costa Rica. She will be joining Ashley Denlinger in the program, studying the Bible part of the week, and doing ministry the remainder of the week. They will leave next month, will be home for Christmas, and graduate in the spring. The missions committee was able to forward funds to SCORE to apply to Katherine's account. Thanks for your faithfulness in giving to make this possible.

Upcoming Missions Updates

Many of you have connected with Bill and Kristie Campbell in the past. They have visited us on several occasions when they were ministering in Kensington, PA. The Campbells are now reaching out to the lost in France, most recently in the Paris area. Bill and Kristie's schedule did not give us the opportunity to have them share on a Sunday, however, Justin and Rachel Kreider will be opening up their home for you to come and hear what God is doing through Bill and Kristie on Saturday evening, August 15 at 6:30. Contact Rachel if you would like to bring along your favorite dessert.

On a different note, you may want to mark your calendar to come hear from Jonathan Brooks, president of VOCA (Voice of China and Asia) on Sunday, August 23. Jonathan has been actively leading  teams from the US and Canada into the rural areas of China and Asia for a number of years, where they are able to openly and legally distribute Bibles to believers. Jonathan will give a brief update in the morning services and will join us for lunch in Lefever Hall after the second service.

Be sure to sign up on the communication form if you would like to attend either of the above events. It is critical the committee knows how many to prepare for. Your cooperation is appreciated.
