If you've met Jason, it won’t surprise you to hear that he creates FUN for our children and youth! He is the games director for Awana and VBS, an event leader for the youth, and a substitute Sunday School teacher. Growing up, Jason aspired to be a computer technician but now his dream job is to be a Disney World blogger. He graduated from Cedarville University and currently works for the family propane business. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports and movies. He’s also had his gaming YouTube channel featured in a kids book. Jason has two married sisters and 6 nephews and nieces, and is looking forward to getting married to his fiancé, Amy, in June 2018! The craziest thing he’s ever done is eat chicken wings so hot that he had to sign a waiver before eating them. The sauce was so hot, it burnt the inside of his nose and he couldn’t smell for a week!
I enjoy watching baseball and digital illustration. I started serving as a youth leader in 2015. I have worked in several contexts teaching, tutoring and mentoring youth and always enjoy spending time with and encouraging young people. My role as a youth leader is to lead the 7th and 8th grade boys in small group.
I enjoy spending time with our kids. (Most days, anyway!) God has opened doors for me to be a part of the CMBC youth ministry since 2004/2005 school year. I really enjoy the teens and watching them grow in the Lord, building relationships with them to encourage their walk with the Lord. The 11th and 12th grade girls are where you will find me on a Wednesday night for our small groups! Fellowship usually includes food. It's the same at our youth functions as well! I help organize food for our weekly events and other youth activities.
I have been a Youth Leader since 2004. As a painter, a father of 8 kids and a runner, I manage to stay busy. I am currently leading the 11th and 12th grade boys small group. I really enjoy interacting with the youth and trying to prove the old guy can keep up as I really love playing and watching all sports. Even more, I enjoy teaching and building into their lives and seeing them grow spiritually.
I have been serving the youth with my wife Sarah since March 2016. I enjoy riding dirt bike, spending time in the woods hunting, and anything that keeps me active and outside. I love the enthusiasm and passion our youth bring and strive to be a godly example and encouragement in their lives as they go through a stage of uncertainty and excitement in "growing up". As a youth leader, I help lead the 7th and 8th grade boys small group. It is my goal as their leader to help them grow in their knowledge of who God is and to help equip them to share this knowledge with their friends. College is a testing time for a young believer and it is crucial to help them gain the spiritual foundation to stand firm in their faith as they enter the "real world."
I enjoy anything outdoors, including running, biking, sports, and gardening. I have been serving as a youth leader since March 2016, and I assist in leading the 9-10th grade girls. I am excited as a youth leader to connect and build relationships with the students. It is my desire to be there to encourage them, pray for them, and help them grow deeper in their faith so they can seek to serve the Lord in all areas of their lives.
