James (Jim) G. Cherry
More Info
Meet Jim Cherry! Jim volunteers as a greeter and on the 50+ Committee at CMBC. Jim loves greeting visitors and connecting with the folks here at church. He began attending CMBC in 2008 and has been married to the love of his life, Liz, for 55 years. They have two loving daughters, two dedicated son-in-laws and four grandchildren. Jim had no clue what he wanted to be when he grew up, but was an art major and worked at restoring 18th century structures, which turned out to be his dream job! Some of Jim’s favorite things are Italian food, attending automotive events and visiting historic sites. The craziest thing he’s ever done is top secret, but he wouldn’t mind letting you know that the Cherry clan arrived here from England in 1625 at Norfolk, Virginia. We are so thankful to have Jim in our church family!
