At CMBC it is our goal to help develop and mature young disciples who love God with all their heart, and who love others as much as they love themselves. With Jesus as their model, our children will be guided to grow in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). We provide a variety of exciting activities and programs for children ages newborn through 6th grade and would love to have your family join us!
Sunday School for Children
Sunday School meets 9:45-10:45 every Sunday. There is a class for every age.
A nursery is provided for infants and toddlers at all morning services. Children are cared for in a clean and cheerful environment.
During the Worship Services
8:15 AM Service: Children ages 2-5 meet in the lower level of the building, where they will be engaged in an age-appropriate Bible lesson. Elementary aged children are welcome to join their parents in the auditorium.
10:45 AM Service: Children ages 2-3 meet in Rooms 3 & 4 on the lower level of the church. Children ages 4-5 meet in Room 1 on the lower level of the church. Both of these groups will enjoy activities and a Bible lesson designed just for them. On most Sundays, children in kindergarten through third grade will be dismissed from the worship service to attend Junior Church, held in Room 9 on the lower level of the church. Older children are welcome to join their parents in the auditorium.
For more than 60 years, Awana has been a leader in children's ministry, helping churches and parents worldwide raise children and youth to know, love and serve Christ. Awana is an acronym for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15). Each Awana night is filled with energy, fellowship, and spiritual growth. The evening is packed with games, Scripture memory, singing, and a Bible message.
At CMBC, Awana is held on Wednesday evenings throughout the school year from 6:40-8:15 PM. We have clubs for children age 3 through grade 6. The first night of the 2018-2019 Awana year is Wednesday, September 5, and our kick-off event is Sunday, August 26.

To celebrate our 35th year of Awana--the Kick-off is bigger than ever! Near the beginning of the event, we will be a having a helicopter candy drop! Children will watch the helicopter drop candy from the sky then run through the field to gather the candy. We will also have a bounce house, face painting, balloon artist, a photo booth, and carnival style games. The night also includes a free hot dog dinner. The event provides parents an opportunity to learn more about the Awana ministry, register their children and pick out handbooks and uniforms.
New this year! We have simplified the dues and payment process. Each child participating in Awana will pay a flat rate of $30.00 each club year. This amount goes towards the cost of your child’s book and awards, plus a uniform and bag when entering the next club (bag for Cubbies, Sparks and T&T only). If the cost for your child to participate in Awana is a challenge, please talk to the Children’s Ministry Director or Awana Ministry Directors. Scholarships are available.
If you plan to attend the Awana Kick-Off, please RSVP using this form to the right.
Hang tight while we prepare your form...
