CMBC affectionately calls our young adults group "CMBC - Converge" or "Converge."
All members of Converge are invited to join us as we celebrate our recent graduates as well as the start of summer! We will have dinner, games, and fellowship together at and around the campfire site (or in Lefever Hall if there’s rain). Please notify Converge (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you plan to attend to help us prepare enough food.
Definition: - "to tend or move toward one point or one another."- "to come together and unite in a common interest or focus."(Mirriam-Webster dictionary)Eph. 2:13,17“…in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near. For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father.”
CMBC Converge is finding ways to join together and invest in one another for the goal of encouragement and growth in Christ. As a group we desire to engage young adults in deeper relationship with a loving God through Christ, "converging" together in community.
Converge uses a classroom Sunday mornings at another building on the church grounds. We meet in the basement of the yellow house, (numbered 1666, on the western side of the parking lot tucked behind the youth building) from roughly 9:35 AM - 10:30 AM, between morning services.
Converge will routinely have planned events that we advertise through church-wide emails as well as the Sunday weekly bulletin. Check us out on Facebook or Contact us through email. We would love to hear from you!
