Loving, Living, and Leading in our Community
- The Point is beginning their summer program schedule on June 15, and is in need of folks to provide 2:00 PM lunches for their older students. You (and your friends or family) could provide & serve the meal, donate food for The Point staff to prepare, or contribute financially so The Point staff can purchase & prepare the meal or support a local pizza shop. Contact Erin Bowman (erin@parkesburgpoint.com) to learn more or to sign up.
- City Gate donations may be placed in the large white box near the “A” church mailboxes. (City Gate is a ministry meeting the inner city needs of Coatesville). Right now, they are most in need of coffee, creamer, sugar, iced tea mix, and aluminum foil (regular & wide).
Fellowship & Support
- Adult Bible Fellowships (ABFs) meet 10:30-11:30 Sunday mornings. Our current topics and locations:
- Romans (Auditorium, mirror side)
- Daniel (Multi-Purpose Rm)
- Suffering (Prayer Room, Room 20)
- A Missions Toolbox (Rm 24A)
- Testimonies (Rm 23 - for women)
- Community Groups meet in individual homes and offer a time of small group interaction, Bible study, fellowship prayer, friendship-building, and accountability. Contact Matt Whitacre at mwhitacre@calvarymonument.org to learn more.
- BASIS (Brothers And Sisters In Support) Meeting: this support group for parents grieving the death of a child meets on the 2nd Tuesday evening of the month. New location beginning in June: the Prayer Room at CMBC. Please contact Dan or Phyllis with questions. Next meeting: Tuesday, June 9, 7:00 PM at CMBC
