At CMBC it is our goal to help develop and mature young disciples who love God with all their heart, and who love others as much as they love themselves. With Jesus as their model, our children will be guided to grow in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52). We provide a variety of exciting activities and programs for children ages newborn through 6th grade and would love to have your family join us!
Emerald Crossing VBS
June 22-26, 2026, 6:00-8:30 PM
At Emerald Crossing VBS, kids will discover the life of the shepherd-king David and will learn how to cross from anxiety to peace, from fear to faith, and from uncertainty to a firm foundation in God’s Word through a relationship with the Good Shepherd.
They’ll learn about animal pals: Mia, the sheep; Guide, the border collie; Shadow, the raven; Pesky, the woolly aphid; and Shirley the Highland cow.
Emerald Crossing VBS is for children age 3 to 6th grade.

Sunday Mornings
Nursery
A nursery is available for infants and toddlers on Sunday mornings. Children are cared for in a clean and cheerful environment.
During the Worship Service (9:00 AM)
Children ages 2-5 meet in their classrooms, where they will be engaged in fun activities and an age-appropriate Bible lesson.
Children in kindergarten through sixth grade will be dismissed partway through the worship service to attend Junior Church.
Sunday School (10:30 AM)
Sunday School meets 10:30-11:30 every Sunday. There is a class for every age.
Wednesday Nights
On Wednesday evenings, we have Awana for children age 3 through 6th grade. Awana runs from September to May on most Wednesday evenings, 6:40-8:15 PM. Our 2026-26 Awana year is over, but check back for our start date this fall! See the downloads section below for information for parents.
For more than 60 years, Awana has been a leader in children's ministry, helping churches and parents worldwide raise children and youth to know, love and serve Christ. Awana is an acronym for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed (2 Timothy 2:15). Each Awana night is filled with energy, fellowship, spiritual growth, games, Scripture memory, singing, and a Bible message.
