In the 2nd message of our Advent series, we will reflect on Isaiah 7:10-25. How did Ahaz's lack of hope and faith lead him to depend on rival, Assyria for support against Israel and Syria? In today's message we will explore how Ahaz missed out on peace because he was relying on the voice and presence of others, rather than the voice and presence of God. We will also encounter our God, who still delivers the promise of a child, even as his people turn away from him. Isaiah 7:10-25.
