As the Hebrew people move into the wilderness, we too, move into the second movement of our study through the Exodus narrative. Here, we will watch God form a nation unto himself. As God reforms his people into a nation, what are his priorities? And what does he want them to know? Who are the kinds of people God is using? And how does he respond when his people grow faint, disobey, and refuse to follow? We will explore all these questions and more as we begin to unravel the middle of Exodus.
