God is in the act of forming a nation unto himself. Before he does this, he sends a wise friend to counsel Moses, and then asks Moses to deliver an important message to his people. This message will serve as the introduction or preamble to the covenant that God will make with his people at Mt. Sinai. Exodus 18-19 delivers for us insights related to leadership and being in this world as God's delivered and set apart people. Today, we continue to unpack the second movement of Exodus. How can the church embrace and live into its calling as a kingdom of priests?
