We cross into our final movement through the book of Exodus. Following the sin of idolatry, and the fall of the newborn Israelite nation, how would God respond? Would God abandon and forsake his covenant partner in the wilderness? The answer is a resounding, "never!" Moses discovers that the covenant faithfulness of God is immeasurably more reliable than that of his people. God will renew, and restore his people, while reaffirming his covenant with them. Along the way we discover, that faithful obedience to God actually changes and transforms us in a way that should be recognizable to the people we love and serve.
